What Schools do you pick up from?
We currently pick up from 15 different AISD schools. There must me a minimum of 5 members at that school for the club to make it a designated pick-up site:

Where are you located?
Our Maverick Unit is located at 1923 S. Lincoln St. right next to the I-40 highway. Our school locations (Glenwood, Robert E. Lee, San Jacinto, & Whitter) are located inside of those schools.
What are your hours of operation?
Administrative hours are Monday-Friday 10:00 am-6:00 p.m. Club hours are 3:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday (Maverick/Glenwood) and 3:00-6:00 Monday-Friday (Lee, San Jacinto, & Whittier) for our afterschool program and during Summer Camp and Holidays 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Can outside organizations rent your facility?
Yes, the Boys & Girls Clubs provides rental space before and after regular club hours and on weekends. The cost to rent the gymnasium is $28 an hour. To rent the gym, game room, kitchen, and cafeteria is $125 for the first 2 hours and $30 every hour thereafter. Please call for more information, 806-372-8393.
How do I register my child?
Afterschool registration begins August 1st and Summer Camp registration begins the first day of Spring Break. All registration can be done through our online portal: portal.maverickclub.org. The cost of the afterschool program varies based on location.
Is the Boys & Girls Clubs of Amarillo income-based?
No. Membership fees are set for all members regardless of income.
